Seven #18 (2009)

microclimates within the mall

muzak / ’toons / migraine

enter the store, expect service

pushy, nasal intimidation / dis-
proportionate response

such indoor behaviour

  1. I've shopped there, I still shiver when I'm reminded! I like to be reminded in the way of this poem, you scare me with your extreme imagery in so few words. Malls are like the elephant graveyards for humans where we all shuffle off to die with "dignity".

  2. Malls as elephant graveyards... interesting, yeah I see what you mean. 'Dawn of the Dead' was pretty much on the money, I think.
